Updated forest

I've redone the first dungeon so many times it's not funny. But I think I've finally found a tileset I'm happy with.

I'm also making some headway on skills and items. With that almost out of the way I really should work more on the story. I want to get a demo out as soon as possible (without rushing of course).

I've been working on my lighting. I decided that it looked too messy before. So heres a comparison. The newer one is the last one.

I've been doing various edits of my main character's sprites, so she has a few poses now.

I know compared to some peoples work out there it's nothing amazing but I'm still quite proud of the results.

Adding more details

I should be working on the story, instead I've been working on my maps. I'm finally getting the hang of lighting and shadow effects. Here is a comparison of  a couple of maps.

Personally I think, although not much has changed they look far better in comparison.

Finally decided to make the game.

For awhile now I've been debating about whether to make an Rpg version of my Fiancè's D&D campaign.
For the past couple of years I've had so much fun playing it and I hope others will enjoy it as much as I have.

So the reason I've decided to create this blog is so anyone interested can keep up on updates should they wish to. Probably getting ahead of myself, for all I know everyone will hate it haha.
 I have no artistic talent I'm not even a great storyteller, which makes me sad as I love writing, but I'm going to work hard on this game and hopefully this will be obvious to anyone who decides to play.

Anyway enough rambling from me.
